Printing firm chooses green power
Vancouver, June 26, 2009 — Bullfrog Power™, Canada’s leading 100 per cent green electricity provider, today announced that Rhino Print Solutions has agreed to bullfrogpower its Calgary and Vancouver offices. Rhino Print Solutions, a firm specializing in commercial printing solutions for the marketing and advertising sector, joins the growing list of Canadian businesses and organizations showing their support for green electricity and the development of new renewable power in Canada.
“Rhino is always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact,” said David Allan, President and CEO, Rhino Print Solutions. “We are proud to be an FSC-certified facility and now to choose 100 per cent low-impact renewable electricity from Bullfrog Power.”
Rhino Print Solutions is committed to sustainability in its day-to-day operations. The company became FSC-certified in 2005 and has partnered with Metro Waste Paper Recovery Inc.; this partnership helped save 12,000 trees in 2008. All plates, cardboard, paper and vegetable-based inks are recycled, and the company has stopped using bottled water and paper coffee cups.
